Finding Inner Beauty
Straight Natural Hair
Finding inner beauty is the most passionate thing one can find in life. Inner beauty is knowing how to accept, love and respect yourself. Once an individual accepts his or herself, inner beauty will come naturally.

I most definitely congratulate Karrine Steffins (The Video Vixen/Super Head) for her outstanding hard work in writing, modeling, acting and producing films. Her achievements are very remarkable considering the fact that she comes from an abusive background much similar to i. We were both abused and I am still dealing with the issues today. However, I am very concerned about Karrine. I totally feel she has grown into a stronger and more educated woman. What really bothers me is her image. Karrines image is tarnished in the industry and in order to become another Tyler Perry she needs to learn how to black knose (suck up and get along). When I was a kid I use to work a the Broward Center of Performing Arts in backstage. The white old people taught me how to black knose which is why I was offered so many unique opportunities. Celebrities taught me at a very young age how to speak and carry myself in public. Karrine needs to learn how to get along with not only one or two people but everyone if possible. I commend her for becoming successful although sleeping around got her on top. However, to stay successful in that industry requires black knosing.. She needs to focus on removing all the enemies in her life and creating good hearted associates. I wish her the best of luck with that.
I read all of karrines books and I keep up with her interviews and new books to come. I love them all. The only thing I would suggest is not mentioning any more past sex lovers in her future novels. Who you slept with is nobodies business. I can understand she’s been hurt her whole life but screwing up other peoples lives will only make things worst. She gave herself a terrible image when she talked about all the guys she slept with. That's a great way to look like an industry whore. Some stories should remain SECRET. She also mentioned in one of her books that Hollywood is a negative atmosphere and not cracked up to be what it appears to be in the public eye. That’s not true. Hollywood is what you make it to be. Hollywood is like everyday life in a sence of choosing your friends and lovers wisely. If some one ask you to sleep with’em for a buck or two, you have a choice. God gave us all a choice. Hollywod is what you make it to be. It can be positive or negative depending on the person. I totally believe she’s corrupting young peoples dreams in wanting to be a model, actor, producer or musician. Karrines books gave me a sour feeling about Hollwood and im sure many others. I admire one of her books which talks about making other women stronger sexually, mentally and physically. I enjoyed reading that book. In fact, it has helped me open up to men more sexually.
From this point, I think karrine needs to figure how to escape the past and get along with all the enemies she’s created in the industry. The one thing I would suggest is writing an apology letter to all fans, ex-lovers, celebrities and hollywood itself.. I would also suggest for her to get in church and follow God. Remove the sex tapes from off-line, as well. Satan will only lead her into death. He’s been after her since day one and its obvious. Satan is no one to follow in which she is following his enchanting tricks. In order to be an educational icon requires learning from the past and moving on. I truly hope Karrine Steffens is reading this message and again I congratulate her for all of her achievements. I can only wish the best of luck to this motivated diva.

My natural hair is very fortunate for me. I dont believe in wearing fake weave or locks. I like to show my natural hair in different styles and to others to accept being natural. I am very content with what God blessed me with. I will continue to style my very own hair and enjoy strutting my natural beauty around town.

Kamecia Tutt tries to sit still, Lord knows she does, but at the moment she can't. It's just past 10 am on a cold winter day, and the 5-foot, 8 inch tall retired Wilhelmina Model/Actress and Churky Apparel owner has just finished designing her new leather boots and purses for Churky Apparel Fashion.. "God is good," she says, swigging the last few drops of her ever present sunny delight. She's in her home studio, and she's giddy with a smile that can light up Charlotte's hot city life. Just five year a ago after leaving Miami Florida to relocate to the Carolinas, she was far from happy. Kamecia felt less confident and confused wondering where life will take her and hoping her modeling and acting career would be a success. The person i was then, i dont even recognize anymore," says Kamecia. At 27, kamecia looks ten years younger than her age.
Kamecia was raised in the Church by a God fearing Mother and Step-father. Churky has always been significant to her. But during that dark period five years ago, she mostly kept her spiritual views to herself. Sucking up the pain of her life challenges, the woman known for her talent had nothing to say. Kamecia even stopped listening to her favorite artist Boyz II Men. "I wasn't happy with myself," she says. I had a lot of people around me pulling me down and trying to crash my dreams. "I was turning from my destiny," she says finally. I felt like a loser.
Today Kamecia credits her faith with helping herself turn her life 180 degrees around during that turbulent period when she was flourishing professionally but floundering personally. By embracing the center and joining both ends of the spectrum of her persona- the charming artist who loves her cartoon Churky to death- she has been able to connect with a huge audience while remaining solidly, accessibly, undeniably real. "I believe God created me for his purpose in reaching and touching people spiritually. Therefore, i intend to live for God and the gifts he blessed me with," she says.
Kamecia talks about her next goal in life. "I plan to write my fourth and final Churky the cartoon novel called All Grown Up," she says. Kamecia a woman who didn't know where her life was heading five years ago is now focused on following her God-given purpose and enjoying the brighter days ahead.

White Man Learns That He’s Really Black: ‘It Was As If The Glove Fit Perfectly’ By Margena A. Christian Michael Sidney Fosberg grew up in a White, working-class family in Chicago. He always felt different. He couldn’t quite figure it out though. His siblings, born to his mom and stepfather, had straight hair. He didn’t. “I always felt like I didn’t fit in. I couldn’t do anything with my hair. I had an Afro in high school,” he laughs. “I would ask my mom, ‘Where did my hair come from?’ One day she got fed up with my asking and she said, ‘Your grandfather had hair like that.’ I couldn’t figure that out because her father was bald.” Eventually, Fosberg learned the secret that his mother, born of Armenian descent, kept from him for 32 years. His father is a light-skinned Black man. “She was 20 when she had me. My father was very light skinned. My mother’s family wanted her to marry one of her own. Because she was with a Black man and pregnant, they disowned her and didn’t talk to her for a long time,” says Fosberg, who details his journey of self discovery in the book Incognito: An American Odyssey of Race and Self Discovery. Now 53, Fosberg learned the truth in February 1992. Since then Black History Month has never been the same. No longer did the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities graduate feel out of place. “All my life I had felt a connection with African American people and culture but couldn’t explain why,” says Fosberg. “When I discovered the truth, it was as if the glove fit perfectly. Before I knew what I was, I would always say if I could be anyone in history, it was Martin Luther King Jr. That was the guy I wanted to be.” He also discovered his rich heritage, including a great-great-great grandfather who was a member of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry Regiment, another relative who was a pitcher in the Negro Leagues and his grandfather, Dr. Roy A. Woods, a former chairman of the physics department at Norfolk State University for whom a science building is named.
